Since I was young, I have always loved art. I remember doing arts and crafts projects constantly with my aunt and always wanting to draw whenever I could. That passion for art has continued as I’ve grown into the person I am today. In college, I have taken a wide range of art classes that have provided me with many skills. I’ve learned that my preferred medium is ceramics but have grown to love any project given to me.

A Magical Fairy Realm

This piece was made using a variety of techniques. The tree stump was made using a slab as the base and then built up with coils from there. Each fairy house was built and designed outside of the tree stump form and then added into the full form. The majority of the piece was underglazed and then coated with a clear coat on top in the final firing.

This project was built using coils and glazed using a layering of underglazes with a speckled clear coat on top.

Vanilla Cupcakes with Chocolate Covered Strawberries

These cupcakes were made with spray expanding foam, colored lightweight spackling, air dry clay, and paint.

Hasselback Potatoes with Cheddar Cheese

These potatoes were made with carved foam, hot glue, green tissue paper, and paint.

Single Serving of Ratatouille

This plate of Ratatouille was made with colored foam sheets, green cardstock, green tissue paper, hot glue, and a watered down craft glue and crushed oat mixture to make up the sauce.
